SKYMAGIC created a drone show in celebration of one year to go until the Commonwealth Games 2022 in Birmingham. The six-minute show lit up the sky in the early hours of the morning, marking the one year countdown until Birmingham hosts the major sporting event.
300 drones took to the air above Calthorpe Park to deliver a mesmerising performance – capturing key moments of the Commonwealth Games and celebrating the city of Birmingham. Individual formations included the iconic Birmingham Bull standing tall above the dazzling skyline, as well as dynamic scenes: Basketball, Cricket and Gymnastics. The show’s climactic finale evoked pride and excitement for a pivotal moment in the region’s history, initiating the start of city-wide celebrations that day.
