SKYMAGIC delivered two landmark drone shows for the launch of Vision Malta 2050 — a nationally televised celebration led by Prime Minister Robert Abela to unveil the country’s new national identity and future vision.

The first performance took place above the UNESCO-listed Ħaġar Qim Temples, where drones illuminated the ancient site with symbolic visuals inspired by Malta’s heritage and future ambition. A second large-scale production followed in Valletta, where the drones took flight twice during a high-profile live event featuring Cabinet ministers, entertainers, sports personalities, a live orchestra and illuminated staging.

Bookending the Prime Minister’s keynote speech, the drone performances featured symbols including the Maltese Cross and Eye of Osiris before unveiling the new Vision Malta 2050 brand and national slogan: “Shine Here”.

Broadcast nationally and covered widely across Maltese media, the productions placed drone storytelling at the heart of one of Malta’s most ambitious public launches in recent years.
