SKYMAGIC were commissioned by Wilderness Festival to design and perform a drone show that would lift the wild spirit of the festival to the skies above.

We brought crowds gathered at the Wilderness stage on a journey alike no other, exploring the notion of the wild as it exists in nature, in ourselves and the surrounding world.

Transported by a mystical, drifting hot air balloon, viewers were faced with curious creatures that blur the boundaries of reality and fantasy – from blinking peacock eyelets to a leaping emerald frog, before the story took a wild twist, inviting viewers to look inwards.
