Social Sacrifice is an artwork by DRIFT delivered by SKYMAGIC alongside Drone Stories, commissioned by Aorist and featuring music from Don Diablo.

We were delighted to realise an aerial indoor drone performance as part of the artistic piece at the Venice Biennale, immersing the audience in a magical and unique experience.

Navigating through the space in mesmerising motion, the drones depicted a school of ‘A.I’ fish encountering a predator. Taking place at the historic Chiesa di San Lorenzo, thought to be the resting place of Marco Polo, our exclusive technology was a vehicle for storytelling, and led spectators on an interactive journey around the building.
