SKYMAGIC teamed up with People&Co. and Emmy award-winning director, Mark A. Ritchie, to orchestrate our single most complex and ambitious drone show.

In a piece of ground-breaking cinematography, SKYMAGIC landed a 3-dimensional A380 plane on the North Runway of the newly renamed Zayed International Airport, in Abu Dhabi.

A team of 17 pilots flew 1750 swarm drones and 6 camera drones – alongside an incredible ground camera team – in a series of early morning flight windows to capture this spectacular feat, in collaboration with operational teams at the airport.

The falcon’s journey will be broadcast far and wide across the Middle East, celebrating the welcome of Etihad Flight 09 to Zayed International Airport.
