Returning to Athens for the second year running, SKYMAGIC created three further drone shows for the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Festival at the spectacular SNF Cultural Center.

Encompassing the story of the SNF Nostos Festival, we guided the audience on a journey of growth and evolution, exploring themes of human life and health. Formations transformed in the open air – from a delicate blossoming daisy to a slow-motion running figuring and revolving helix – eventually reaching the narrative’s climax point with a 3-dimensional explosion.

A live audience were able to enjoy the show over the course of three nights throughout the festival in Athens. Towards the end of the show, a scannable QR code was formed by the drones in massive scale, enabling a live audience to interact and link directly to the festival website from the ground below.
